Drake breezes to easy win over Southeast Missouri

Drake outscored Southeast Missouri by double digits in each half to roll to a 78-51 victory in game four of the BP Top of the World Classic at the Carlson Center Friday night. Forward Ajay Calvin finished with 17 points and five boards, while guard Chris Bryant of Metlakatla, AK added 15 points for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs limited 30 percent shooting, while hitting half of their attempts from the field. Drake topped SEMO in every major statistical category in a game that was never in doubt. Michael Rembert was the only Redhawk in double figures with 11 points.

Drake advances to face Utah State tomorrow (Nov. 18) at 8:00 p.m. AST in the Carlson Center. Southeast Missouri will get Centenary at 2:30 p.m. AST in the loser’s bracket.
