Psychologist to speak on understanding boys

Harvard psychologist William Pollack will give a free public lecture, "Understanding Boys and Men,"? Thursday, February 15th at 5 p.m. at the Noel Wien Library. The lecture is sponsored by the Boys Project at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Pollack is an internationally known expert on the psychological needs of boys and men. His talk will be aimed at parents, educators and others who work with youths. Topics will include how to spot male forms of depression and how to improve the emotional well being of boys.
