The College of Natural Science and Mathematics will host the 14th annual Science Potpourri on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus April 14th from noon to 5 p.m. The Natural Sciences Facility will be the scene of scientific wonders as university organizations offer an afternoon of fun-filled, hands-on science.

The neuroscience department will host "The Brain Room,"? complete with gummy brains, craft projects, safety tips, live animals and brainteasers. The chemistry department will have its ever-popular slime and will be giving away pieces of memory wire. Visitors can also take a detailed flyover of the state with the Alaska Satellite Facility. The Arctic Region Supercomputing Center, Alaska Earthquake Information Center and many other groups will be at the event as well.

A quiet room will be available as a family rest stop.

The event and all activities are free and open to children and adults of all ages.
