UAF reviews crisis plans following Virginia Tech tragedy

The recent Virginia Tech tragedy, prompted questions about how UAF might react in such an emergency. Unfortunately we’re reminded to re-examine the mechanisms we have in place and ask what can we do to improve our prevention and preparedness. Communication in an emergency is critial. The Office of University Relations has a number of ways to disseminate information in the event of an emergency including:
