Electrical fire temporarily closes IARC building

The International Arctic Research Center building is without power due to a small electrical fire that occurred at 11:30 p.m. Monday, May 28. No one was injured during the fire and there is no smoke damage to the building. However, the building is not operational at this time. IARC employees should not report to work today.

All building servers are up and running, so employees may access their email, using the World Wide Web. Updates will be sent via email to all International Arctic Research Center employees.
