Vision Task Force presents findings

The Vision Task Force 2017, a group of opinion leaders from around the state, made presentations about the strategic direction for the University of Alaska Fairbanks Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007.

The task force, convened by UAF Chancellor Steve Jones last March, opened up their findings to public comment for eight weeks before refining the recommendations. Topics include student success, enrollment and retention, research, outreach and community engagement, staff and faculty development, and philanthropic efforts.

Jo Heckman, president and CEO of Denali State Bank, and Kevin Hostler, president and CEO of Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. are leading the group. The recommendations will be sent to the chancellor for review.
