Music department hosting brass concert

The community is invited to a free holiday brass concert Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 8 p.m. in the Charles W. Davis Concert Hall on the University of Alaska Fairbanks Campus.

The concert will include the UAF Brass Choir performing Richard Strauss’ "Vienna Philharmonic Fanfare" and Sibelius’ "Overture in F minor," along with several Christmas selections and John Williams’ "Quidditch."

The UAF Trombone Choir will perform music from the Hollywood Trombones’ album "Trombones Under the Tree." Admission is free, however donations will be accepted at the door.
