The University of Alaska Fairbanks will host three public concerts as part of its New Music Festival.

On Feb. 7 at 8 p.m., UAF music department students and faculty will perform a free concert.

Ticketed performances will also take place Feb. 8 and 9 at 8 p.m.

The Feb. 8 concert will feature guest artist Christopher Adler, the percussion Ensemble 64.8, and the Pangea String Quartet.

The Feb. 9 concert features Alaska-born composer Matthew Burtner, whose electro-acoustic work has earned international accolades. Special guests include Minna Rose Chung and Jaunelle Celaire.

Concerts will take place in the Davis Concert Hall at UAF. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, seniors and military. Children 12 and under are free. For more information, call 474-7555.
