Summer Sessions hosts free lecture series

University of Alaska Fairbanks Summer Sessions and the Northern Alaska Environmental Center will host Discovering Alaska, a free public lecture series to be held throughout the summer Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in the Schaible Auditorium on the Fairbanks campus.

The lectures will feature presentations by Alaska artists, authors, historians and scientists. The series is cosponsored by the UAF Center for Research Services, the International Arctic Research Center and the UA Geography Program. Following is a schedule of lecturers.
