Museum nature walk scheduled

The University of Alaska Museum of the North will hold a nature walk on Wednesday, Aug. 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Explore the boreal forest and look for insects with John Acorn, author and host of the popular TV series "Acorn the Nature Nut".

This family-friendly walk starts at the museum and will cover approximately two miles on the UAF trail system. Space is limited.

Cost is $3 for adults and youth (ages 7-17); children 6 and under are free.Call 474-5360 for reservations or more information.
