Alaska politics, oil and gas experts available for interviews

University of Alaska Fairbanks political scientist Gerald McBeath and oil and gas economist Doug Reynolds will be available via audioconference for interviews regarding Alaska governor and recently named vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. The audioconference is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 29 at noon Alaska time (4 p.m. Eastern). McBeath is an expert on a wide spectrum of Alaska and broader political issues. Reynolds can speak about the economics of the oil and gas industry and how Palin’s policies have affected the industry.
