Lecture to focus on biomass energy options

The Alaska Center for Energy and Power at the University of Alaska Fairbanks will host a free public lecture on biomass energy Wednesday, Jan. 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Noel Wien Library.

The lecture will include information on a variety of biomass energy options, from village-scale systems to wood-burning technology for the individual homeowner. Speakers include Ron Brown from the Alaska Energy Authority and Dave Misiuk from the Cold Climate Housing Research Center.

The lecture is part of a monthly series of community energy lectures.
