Exhibit curator to discuss ’Masterworks of Yup’ik Science and Survival’

The University of Alaska Museum of the North will host a free public lecture with Ann Fienup-Riordan on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m.

Fienup-Riordan is the curator of the museum’s current special exhibit "The Way We Genuinely Live: Masterworks of Yup’ik Science and Survival." She will describe the 10-year collaboration between Yup’ik elders and educators that led to the exhibit.

A book signing follows the lecture. Copies of the companion book to the exhibit are available at the museum store.
