The University of Alaska Fairbanks music department will host a free public lecture with Michael Cherlin Friday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Charles W. Davis Concert Hall on the UAF campus.

Cherlin is the founding director of the Interdisciplinary Program on Collaborative Arts at the University of Minnesota. He will speak about the value of cross-disciplinary artistic collaboration in a university setting.
