Author to speak on women in workplace

Author Sara Laschever will give a seminar "Women and the Power of Negotiation: Learning to Ask for What You Want" Saturday, Feb. 28, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, in the UAF Wood Center Ballroom.

The seminar is designed to teach women how to recognize opportunities to negotiate and evaluate the economic value of their work. The seminar will also touch on what senior managers can do to help women make the most of their talents.
