Professor to speak on economic downturn

San Jose State University economics professor Jeffrey Hummel will give two lectures in Fairbanks, Tuesday, March 17 at 1 p.m. in the UAF Wood Center Ballroom and Wednesday, March 18 at 7 p.m. at Friends Community Church.

Hummel will discuss the causes and consequences of the recent economic downturn. Both lectures are free and open to the public.

The lectures are sponsored by Students Who Enjoy Economic Thinking, a student group at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
