The University of Alaska Fairbanks campus will host several Halloween activities this weekend. A schedule and description of the events follow:

Halloween at the University of Alaska Museum of the North
Friday, Oct. 30, 4-7 p.m. - UA Museum of the North
See bugs, bats, bears and more in the museum’s research labs and explore the galleries in a scavenger hunt. The event is for costumed children ages 12 and under with adult supervision. Admission is free with donation of canned food for the Fairbanks Community Food Bank.

Wood Center’s Weird and Creepy Family Halloween Bash
Saturday, Oct. 31, 4-7 p.m, - Wood Center
Wood Center will host a full slate of activities for children and young teens with adult supervision, including pumpkin bowling, face painting, costume contests and photos, fishing in the "piranha pond," a haunted hallway, free bowling and Wii games, a scavenger hunt, dancing to Thriller and costumed jugglers. Pizza Piazza and Polar Perk will be open and student groups will host bake sales. Admission is free, though there will be a canned food collection area for donation to the Fairbanks Community Food Bank.

Chilling Children’s Carnival
Saturday, Oct. 31, 5:30-8 p.m. - Moore-Bartlett-Skarland Complex
UAF Residence Life will host trick-or-treating and a Halloween carnival. The carnival will include a variety of activities and games, as well as "Alice’s Wicked Wonderland Haunted House." All children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free.
