15% general fund reduction to all units does not support quality academic programming

How does asking for academic units to take a blanket 15% reduction to their general fund allocation in FY21 show that UAF is supporting maintaining a quality academic experience?

At what point will decisions be made that some departments need to be cut, while others are supported, instead of destroying all departments equally by attrition and equal loss of resources?

Can we, in good conscience, recruit students to programs that are being starved of resources?

The budget links provided at the top of the Grapevine go to pages associated with the FY20 budget and financial exigency. It is not clear whether they are being updated for the FY21 budget discussion.
