2013 Staff Appreciation Day award winners

A number of employees were recognized a this year's Staff Appreciation Day Longevity
and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 15. Staff were recognized for contributions
from five to 30 years of service. In addition, the following employees received specific
awards:
- Chancellor's Cornerstone Award – Cathy Morgan, program coordinator, Psychology Department
The Chancellor's Cornerstone Award recognizes UAF staff for sustained outstanding contributions toward accomplishing and enhancing the UAF mission and strategic plan. - Outstanding Staff Council Award – Brad Krick, library technician, Rasmuson Library
The Outstanding Staff Council Achievement Award recognizes UAF Staff Council representatives, alternates and other staff governance participants for significant contributions towards the council's mission. - Margaret Peggy Wood Award – Mary Booth-Barger, admissions and registration coordinator,
Chukchi Campus
The Peggy Wood Award recognizes outstanding staff working with rural students in the College of Rural and Community Development.
