UA Board of Regents offers new testimony options
June 30, 2016
The University of Alaska Board of Regents is changing when it will hear public testimony
and hold committee meetings.
Starting September 2016, public testimony will take place in two-hour sessions held
on separate evenings prior to committee and full board meetings.
The sessions will include facilitated telephone-based testimony. People will be able
to call in and testify from anywhere in Alaska.
In addition, there will be opportunities on the first evening of each full board meeting
for face-to-face input at community gatherings.
Committee meetings will be held via videoconferencing one week prior to the full board
meetings.
All meetings are open to the public. As always, written testimony can be submitted
by e-mail to ua-bor@alaska.edu.
Please note the following dates for future board meetings here.
