Contains same info as announcement. Includes picture of large group of people standing outside US Capitol BuildingAn information session about the AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellowships program will be held Tuesday, March 10, from 2-3 p.m. in Elvey Auditorium.

The fellowship is a paid, public service and professional development opportunity for doctoral-level scientists and engineers interested in contributing to science policy at the federal government level in Washington, D.C. Fellows are recent Ph.D. graduates, postdocs, faculty and other scientists seeking to grow their careers. A master's degree in engineering plus three years of work experience also qualifies.

Current fellow Simin Hall will share her perspective on what the fellowship is like and tips on how to be competitive when applying. The session is free, and all are welcome.
