Alaska Airlines discounts tickets for travel to Governor's Cup

Alaska Airlines will offer a 15 percent discount for all in-state travel to Fairbanks for the Alaska Airlines Governor’s Cup hockey games.
The Alaska Nanooks, of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, will vie for the cup against the Seawolves, of the University of Alaska Anchorage, March 7-8 at the Carlson Center.
Fans can receive Alaska Airlines' travel discount by using the code ECMA174 on alaskaair.com. This code is valid on any published fare between Fairbanks and one of the other
19 cities served by Alaska Airlines.
The offer will be valid for travel between March 4 and 11.

said Aelin Allegood, UAF assistant athletic director for marketing. “It’s great that
Alaska Airlines is offering this discount for fans statewide. We’re looking forward
to seeing a packed house."
The games will wrap up the Western Collegiate Hockey Association regular season.
In December, the Seawolves won game one in the best-of-four series 3-2 before the Nanooks rallied for a 5-4 victory in the second game after falling behind 4-2 early in the third period. Should the series be tied a 2-2 or 1-1-2 after the four games, the Governor’s Cup title will be decided in a shootout.
