Alaska EPSCoR announces awards schedules
September 7, 2011
Students and faculty at all UA campuses are encouraged to apply for Alaska Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) awards for spring 2012.
The

in furthering their research. Undergraduate and
travel proposals will be reviewed
without regard to previous funding.
Awards include:
- Travel Grants (16 available, for $1,000 - $1,500): Travel grants are available to students and faculty for travel to conferences and events or for field work. Grants are available for travel taking place between Jan. 1 and June 15, 2012.
- Undergraduate Research Awards (six available): Undergrads participating in a research project are eligible for these awards, which include a $4,000 stipend and up to $2,000 for supplies.
- Graduate Research Awards (14 available): Graduate students undertaking research projects can apply for these awards, which include stipends of $11,000 and up to $2,000 for supplies, as well as tuition and health insurance.
