Alaska EPSCoR to hold Game Jam

Alaska NSF EPSCoR will host an online "Solstice Game Jam" on June 22-29 in which teams and individuals
will gather to design games to share online. All ages and abilities are welcome, and
games can range from highly technical code-based video games to classic board games.The event is "Fire and Ice"-themed, so participants are encouraged to find creative ways to incorporate fire and ice elements into their games.
People can register for the event as individuals, form teams or ask to be added to a team. Participants will meet on Zoom at the beginning and end of the Game Jam; during the rest of the event teams will manage their own interactions. Games will be submitted to the itch.io game website and a panel of judges will choose winners.
First-, second- and third-place winners will have prizes mailed to them, and all participants will receive a participation award. More details will be emailed to registrants before the event.
