Alaska EPSCoR travel funding available

Alaska NSF EPSCoR (National Science Foundation Established Program to Stimulate Competitive
Research) announces the availability of travel funding to enable UA-affiliated individuals
to present their research, to interact with colleagues and mentors, and/or to obtain
training in science related to the goals of the EPSCoR Fire and Ice program. Travel may be to conferences, workshops, trainings or other appropriate
academic settings. Priority will be given to junior faculty and graduate students.Awards are for up to $3,500 and cover domestic travel only. Travel must be completed between Oct. 7, 2019, and Sept. 1, 2020. The deadline to apply is Sept. 16. For more information or to apply visit www.alaska.edu/epscor/awards.
