WOMEN’S BASKETBALL | 3-9 Overall, 0-6 GNAC
LAST WEEK: 0-2 | THIS WEEK: at Concordia (Jan. 17), at Western Oregon (Jan. 19)
The Alaska Nanooks women’s basketball team continues to hunt for their first Great Northwest Athletic Conference win of the season after dropping a pair of league contest to in-state rival Alaska Anchorage (70-81) and Montana State Billings (72-80) last week. The Nanooks will hit the road this week, taking on the Concordia Cavaliers in Portland, Oregon on Thursday, Jan. 17, before taking on the Western Oregon Wolves in Monmouth, Oregon, on Saturday, Jan. 19. Thursday’s game at Cavalier Court will take place at 4:15 p.m. Alaska time, while Saturday’s game at the New P.E. Building is set for 1 p.m. Alaska time.

MEN’S BASKETBALL | 4-9 Overall, 1-5 GNAC
LAST WEEK: 0-2 | THIS WEEK: vs. Northwest Nazarene (Jan. 17), vs. Central Washington (Jan. 19)
After a week on the road, the Alaska Nanooks men’s basketball team returns to the Alaska Airlines Court the week for a pair of GNAC contests. The Nooks will host the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks on Thursday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m. Alaska time before taking on the Central Washington Wildcats on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. Alaska time. The Nanooks fell 62-79 to the Seattle Pacific Falcons last Thursday, before dropping Saturday’s contest to Saint Martin’s, 80-87.

SKIING
LAST WEEK: at CU Invite | THIS WEEK: at Montana State Invite (Jan. 18-19)
After a successful showing at the Colorado University Invitational last weekend, the Alaska Nanooks men’s and women’s Nordic ski teams continue their road trip to Bozeman, Montana this weekend for a pair of Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association races. The Nanooks will compete in the Montana State University Invitational at the Crosscut Mountain Sports Center this Friday, Jan. 18, and Saturday, Jan. 19.

HOCKEY | 5-15-2, 5-10-1-1 WCHA
LAST WEEK: 1-1 | THIS WEEK: vs. #9 Bowling Green (Jan. 18-19)
The Alaska Nanooks hockey team returns home after splitting on the road with Bemidji last weekend, falling 0-3 to the Beavers on Friday night before bouncing back on Saturday with a 2-1 overtime victory courtesy of sophomore forward Justin Young. The Alaska Nanooks hockey team hosts the No. 9 Bowling Green Falcons with a two-game Western Collegiate Hockey Association series at the Carlson Center this Friday, Jan. 18 and Saturday, Jan. 19. Puck-drop both nights is scheduled for 7:07 p.m. Alaska time.
TICKET PROMOTION: On Saturday, Jan. 19, only, the Alaska Nanooks ticketing office is offering free admission to all active military members and their dependents with the showing of a valid military I.D.

Half-season ticket packages available now
Starting this week, the Alaska Nanooks ticketing office is offering half-season ticketing packages for hockey, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and a combined court sport package. Ticket packages may be purchased at a prorated amount until there are fewer than four games remaining for the respective sport. All ticket packages are for general admission season only. The prices are as followed:

    • Adults - $72

    • Youth - $60

    • Military - $60



  • MEN’S BASKETBALL | 7 Games

    • Youth - $40

    • Military - $40



  • WOMEN’S BASKETBALL | 7 Games

Ticket packages can be purchased at the Patty Center ticketing office during office hours (Monday–Friday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Alaska time) or at the door of home Patty Center events (doors open one hour prior to game time).
