Alaska Native cancer survivor group to meet

The Fairbanks Native Association and the University of Alaska Fairbanks Center for Alaska Native Health Research are hosting a meeting of Hopeful Connections, a support group for Alaska Native cancer survivors and their loved ones.

The next meeting will be held Monday, Aug. 20th at 5:30 p.m. at the Hannah Solomon Building, 317 Wendell Avenue. The group will discuss cancer and community resources.

There will be refreshments and door prizes. For transportation needs, call Freda Williams at 452-5225. For additional information, call Ellen Lopez at 474-7318.
