Alaska NSF EPSCoR, or Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research, will present a workshop led by Provost Anupma Prakash that focuses on best practices for mentoring junior faculty, postdoctoral researchers and graduate students. The workshop will take place from 2-5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4. (The location is not yet determined.)

The event will begin with a general overview of mentoring best practices, followed by breakout sessions in which participants will work through real-world case studies that focus on a mentoring challenge.
