Alaska Solve Climate by 2030

This Alaska-focused webinar will bring together climate leaders from across the state to moderate a community discussion on solutions and inspiration as a part of a global initiative in all U.S. states and over 50 countries to make climate education part of the academic curriculum.
Keynote speakers will include:
- Alex Hirsch, UAF Climate Scholars Program, who will focus on training Alaska's future climate leaders
- Darcy Peter, Tanana Chiefs Conference Climate Change Advisory Committee and Woodwell Climate Research Center, who will focus on climate action across communities
- Charley Basham, Fairbanks Climate Action Coalition Interfaith working group, who will focus on drawing on one's faith to motivate action
- Kim McNett, from the Homer Drawdown Project, who will focus on collaboration to achieve a steady decline in greenhouse gas levels
