Alaska's Land & Sea Lecture Series will begin with a lecture by Taylor Maida on how to identify and manage common garden pests at 7 p.m. in 201 O’Neill as part of Alaska’s Land and Sea Lecture Series. Maida will describe pests, how they affect plants and methods of how to manage them. Maida is the Agriculture and Horticulture Program Assistant for the Cooperative Extension Service. Her favorite vegetable to grow and eat is the artichoke.
