Ally Week events planned

Student Activities is teaming up with the UAF Gay-Straight-Alliance student organization to sponsor Ally Week Oct. 15 - 20. There are many great events happening all week, and students, staff and faculty are all encouraged to attend. The complete list of events is available online.

There will be a Safe Space training from 3 - 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18. Safe Space training will provide resources for staff and faculty to create positive learning environments and spaces, as well as provide strategies for supporting LGBT students, including how to educate about anti-LGBT bullying. Space is limited; if interested, please register online. This training is free. Registration will be confirmed within 48 hours.
