The event will include a meet and greet with outreach center staff, refreshments, and a ribbon-cutting and cake at 5 p.m. Extension, library staff and Anchorage master gardeners will be on hand to talk about upcoming programs and events.

Information will be available on agriculture, 4-H, lawn and garden care, pest control, health and wellness, and more. The library is located at 3600 Denali St. Extension moved into the space in September.

Extension is part of a national educational network affiliated with land-grant universities and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Agents and staff provide research-based practical information and youth programs to Alaskans. For more information, contact Gina Dionne at 907-786-6300.
