Hello! My name is Audrey Kirby, and I am your student advocacy director at ASUAF. I'm also known as the student ombudsman. I am one of the resources you have as a student at the university. Here are some of the things I do as your student advocate:

  • Listen to, analyze and investigate student complaints and concerns

  • Provide a safe place for students to discuss their grievances

  • Gather information on behalf of the student

  • Recommend policy changes that would address student concerns

  • Explain the grade and academic appeals process

  • Serve as the primary ASUAF student representative on all academic and grade appeals committees

  • Guide students through university policies and procedures, rules and processes

  • Bring student concerns to the ASUAF Senate and executive branch

  • Act as a neutral party between students and members of the faculty staff

  • Provide options for students regarding academics, Residence Life and Title IX

If you or a friend has a concern or complaint but are unsure how to address it, please feel free to contact me at asuaf.advocacy@gmail.com, or stop by the ASUAF office, in Wood Center next to the arcade.
