Author, activist Miller to speak at UAF

Chanel Miller will give a talk at 6 p.m. April 2 at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The event, which coincides with Sexual Assault Awareness Month, will be at Davis Concert Hall.
Miller is an author, activist and sexual assault survivor. In 2016, Glamour named her a Woman of the Year, and she has been interviewed by outlets such as "60 Minutes," "Oprah," "The Daily Show" and CNN.
The event is $10 for the public and free for those with a UAF ID. Tickets are available at the Wood Center information desk at UAF.
