Avenues for addressing impaired professionals

Does the university have any policies or avenues that individuals can take in addressing impaired professionals in the workplace? I know that this can be a touchy subject but when it does become an issue it has a real life impact on other individuals in the workplace in many ways that can extend to professional development, job stability, and safety for those working around a impaired professional.
