Blind sensitivity training

The Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired will be offering an interactive blind sensitivity training Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 2-4 p.m. in ELIF 305. The training is designed for individuals who work in high-traffic or front-office environments, their supervisors, as well as faculty, staff and students who are interested in learning best practices when interacting with individuals who are blind or have low vision.
You can RSVP online. The training is limited to the first 30 people who sign up, but additional spaces may become available.
