The University of Alaska Board of Regents is meeting Monday, July 22, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. In light of the Moody’s Investors Service announcement downgrading the university’s credit rating by three notches, the unresolved budget discussions in Juneau, and the uncertainty of a final budget number for UA, Board of Regents Chair John Davies will bring forward the question of a declaration of financial exigency. The board also will discuss structural options.

The meeting will be held at the University of Alaska Anchorage in the Lee Gorsuch Commons, Room 107. Teleconference sites will be available in Fairbanks in Butrovich 204 and in Juneau in Room 204 of the UAS administration building.

The proceedings can be livestreamed at www.alaska.edu/bor/live/. The meeting agenda and documents will be available online at www.alaska.edu/bor/agendas/.
