Borealis Bistro offers just two more lunches

The Borealis Bistro will offer its lunch menu on only two more Thursdays in this academic
year.
The bistro, operated by UAF Community and Technical College at the Hutchison Institute
of Technology on Geist Road, will offer a choice of items produced by students completing
practical exams on Thursday, April 16. The bistro will be closed April 23 to allow
preparation of the annual scholarship dinner. It will reopen on April 30 for the final
lunch service of the academic year.
This week's $12 fixed price menu includes a choice of three entrées: Vietnamese pho
with or without grilled pork skewer, angel hair pasta with sausage and sun-dried tomatoes,
and crab-stuffed halibut with gorgonzola cheese sauce. The meal also comes with a buffalo
mozzarella and tomato caprese skewer as an appetizer, and a choice of beef and barley
soup or butternut squash slaw. Dessert is an additional $4 and espresso drinks are
available for a variety of prices.
