Call for abstracts for Western Alaska science conference

The Western Alaska Interdisciplinary Science Conference and Forum invites researchers to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations at the WAISC 2021 conference, "Visions for the Future," which will be held online May 13–14. Abstracts will be accepted through Thursday, April 1.
The conference will feature discussions, networking opportunities and talks on a range of topics including climate change, water and soil, sustainable energy, rural education, local arts and culture, and more.
This is an opportunity to share your work in Western Alaska with colleagues and the Bristol Bay region. We welcome abstracts on empirical or theoretical work related to Western Alaska from any scientific discipline.
The Southwest Interagency Meeting will be held Wednesday, May 12, in conjunction with WAISC.
