The Midnight Sun Run begins at the University of Alaska Fairbanks at 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 18. Thousands
of participants are expected for the 10K run. The UAF Police Department will limit access to campus starting at 9 p.m.
Thompson and North Tanana drives will be accessible until 9 p.m. and will then be
closed. The roads are expected to reopen by about 10:30 p.m., after all racers have
left campus.
Alumni Drive will remain open, but traffic will be rerouted at the intersection at South Chandalar
Drive from 9-10 p.m. to bypass the race start at the UAF Patty Center.
