Chancellor and Russian Vice Rector renew relationship between universities

Chancellor Rogers and North-Eastern Federal University Vice Rector Mikail Yu Prisyazhny celebrate the renewal of a longstanding relationship between UAF and the former Sakha State University, recently established as one of eight Russian federal universities through reforms in the Russian Federation. A former exchange student to UAF, Prisyazhnyy currently serves as Vice Rector for Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Medical Specialties.  The Vice Rector met with UAF deans and faculty to discuss potential for collaboration in research and teaching within the Colleges of Engineering and Mines, Liberal Arts, Rural and Community Development and with the School of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences.
