Chancellor Rogers to speak at Anchorage Chamber event

University of Alaska Fairbanks Chancellor Brian Rogers will speak at the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce's Make it Mondays forum Monday, Feb. 9, at noon at the Egan Center.
Rogers, who has served as UAF's chancellor since 2009, will speak about how the university's research and education mission contributes to the state and its residents, as well as how the university can support Alaska's economic health. Rogers is a former Alaska legislator and University of Alaska regent. He was recently tapped to serve as head of Gov. Bill Walker's fiscal policy transition team.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and the presentation will start at noon.
