Chancellor's forum on COVID-19 and plans for fall

The chancellor's leadership team will host the third in a series of online forums at 9 a.m. this Friday, Aug. 21. UAF Chancellor Dan White will lead the forum this week and will be joined by Dr. Tom Hennessy, an epidemiologist with the statewide incident management team, to discuss aerosols and COVID-19 testing. This is an opportunity to also address questions about fall plans including testing, academic policies, best practices for in-person and hybrid courses and a Residence Life update. Forum participants will also include:


  • Tom Hennessy, statewide incident management team

  • Jak Maier, Faculty Senate president

  • Holly Beamon, associate director residence life

  • Doug Schrage, fire chief and director of emergency management
