Chancellor’s holiday gathering and United Way prize drawing

Join Chancellor White at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10, at media.uaf.edu for a virtual holiday gathering. We're unable to gather in person this year, but we’ll get together briefly online for the UAF United Way campaign prize drawing and brief remarks from the chancellor.

Employees are encouraged to connect with their colleagues and students in other virtual environments. If you're on campus, stop by the Wood Center to pick up a holiday treat bag (while they last) at the Wood Center on Dec. 10 from noon-4 p.m. Employees are encouraged to donate to the Wood Center Food Pantry while you’re there!

About the food pantry

The Wood Center Food Pantry serves any UAF student with a PolarExpress card. Students may pick up one bag of food per week. Assistance bags are stocked with canned food (beans, soup, vegetables, etc.), other shelf-stable food items (pasta, granola bars, oatmeal, etc.), and hygiene products (toilet paper, shampoo, soap, etc.). You can also donate directly to the Wood Center Food Pantry through the UA Foundation.
