Chancellor's Holiday Gathering Dec. 6

The Chancellor's Holiday Gathering will take place Thursday, Dec. 6, from 4-6 p.m.
in the Wood Center multilevel lounge. Students, staff and faculty are welcome to help
us to celebrate the winter season with festive food and music.
The winners of the United Way of the Tanana Valley prize drawing will be announced
at the gathering. Make a gift of any amount and be entered to win two Alaska Airlines
vouchers, an annual parking pass, and equipment rentals from Nanook Recreation Outdoor
Adventures. Make a new gift of $50, or increase last year’s gift by $50, and be entered
to win 100,000 Alaska Airlines miles!
Contributions go to any nonprofit you choose, including UAF, or you can have your
gift go to the United Way Community Care Fund, supporting 20 local nonprofit organizations.

There will also be a collection point for the Wood Center food pantry for those who
care to donate. The pantry serves any UAF student with a PolarExpress card and is stocked with canned food, other shelf-stable food items and hygiene products.
