Changes to Title IX rules

Dear UAF community,
Yesterday, the Department of Education released new Title IX rules on how universities are to handle sexual harassment and assaults on college campuses beginning Aug. 14, 2020.
UAF’s Title IX office is working closely with our colleagues throughout the UA system to understand and implement the new rules.
UAF continues our commitment to provide students, faculty and staff an environment free from sex and gender-based discrimination, and we will continue to grow a culture of respect, diversity, inclusion and caring.
As we get a better sense of how the new rules will impact UAF’s current processes, we will share that information with you and post it on the UAF Title IX website.
