CITE Fellows program seeks innovative faculty
August 7, 2015
Do you know of a UAF faculty member who has an innovative approach to teaching or
likes trying new things in the classroom? Sure you do, and UAF eLearning wants their
names!
The Chancellor’s Innovation in Technology and Elearning program, maintained by the
UAF eLearning instructional design team, is open for 2015-16 CITE fellow nominations.
Now entering its third year, the CITE program supports dedicated teaching faculty
who are exploring online education or want to incorporate tech tools into the classroom
to enhance the learning experience.
“Any valuable changes to the quality of education must be led by the faculty, and
we want to support those leaders,” said Madara Mason, UAF eLearning faculty development
coordinator.
Nominations must be submitted by deans, department chairs or past CITE fellows. The
nomination form and details about the program can be found at http://elearning.uaf.edu/go/cite.
Faculty accepted into the program received benefits including travel stipends, cutting-edge
technology tools, specialized training and significant instructional design support.
