Climb higher at UAF

Get outside on campus and try something bold — the outdoor rock climbing tower. It's
beginner-friendly, and staff members will provide climbing gear and expert instruction.
Come try climbing or rappelling while the weather is fair. The tower is open on Wednesdays,
Thursdays and Fridays 4-8 p.m. and Saturdays noon-4 p.m. The climbing tower is free
to every UAF student with a Student Recreation Center pass.
Want to use the indoor climbing wall? Sign up for an orientation class at the SRC
front desk. The hour-long class gives you access to the indoor climbing wall whenever
the SRC is open. The class gives you expert belay instruction and a climbing and belay
certification for just $10.
