Committee coordination

There seem to be numerous committees working on issues of diversity and inclusion (IDEA Task Force, Strategic Planning, Strategic Enrollment Planning, DEC Diversity Advisory Committee, etc.) and many departments have undertaken their own diversity and inclusion initiatives (Nanook Diversity and Action Council, BLaST, Residence Life, etc.) and it seems to be a waste of human capital, especially since many of the same people serve across these same initiatives and committees. Who oversees these committees? Is there any coordination between the committees?
