Experience the Arctic with art, science and youth events
March 10, 2016
Fairbanks may be 200 miles from the Arctic Circle, but the Arctic will be easily accessible
during the 2016 Arctic Science Summit Week at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
In addition to a host of science and policy meetings, the week will include a full
slate of public activities for families and the community. Events start on Friday,
March 11, and many are free. They include art shows, family science programs, storytelling
and cinema events, tours, games and lectures.
